Where great stories begin

My name is Estelle.

I’m a script consultant with over 10 years of experience, fluent in four languages and deeply passionate about storytelling.

After graduating from EICAR, in 2011, I began my career as a literary assistant at Auteurs Associés, contributing to the development of episodes for the crime series Section de Recherches, while also reading scripts and scouting for new talent.

A year later, I moved to Canada on a working holiday visa and started working as an editor for a New York–based company, Company Cue. During this time, I developed my script consulting activity and joined the Canadian Academy as a jury member.

I then returned to Europe, settling first in the United Kingdom, where I resumed my studies at the University of Edinburgh. My consulting work became increasingly international, with collaborations across France and the UK.

After moving to Spain and refining my Spanish, my work expanded into collaborations with French- and Latin-speaking partners, with a growing focus on series development.

In 2021, I relocated to Portugal, learned Portuguese, joined the Creative Europe MEDIA expert pool, and began working as a writer for various production companies.

My missions

Goal #1

Guiding writers through development, from concept to final script — and, when everything aligns, all the way to the red carpet.

An idea alone is never enough to carry a story. Every project must be rooted in a strong theme, built on a solid, coherent script, shaped by a well-defined narrative identity, and brought to life by fully developed characters capable of creating a genuine emotional connection.

These foundations are what carry a project from idea to synopsis, and from synopsis to script. But getting them right often requires a third eye — one able to see what emotional attachment to the story can obscure. That’s where I come in. I help writers craft the strongest possible version of their story, from pitch to synopsis, through to the scripted draft.

Goal # 3

From English-speaking countries to Spain and Portugal, helping films and series stand out and travel internationally.

Drawing on 14 years of experience, fluency in four languages, and my expertise as a MEDIA / Creative Europe expert, I support European and international co-productions at every stage of development.

By analysing and supporting projects in French, English, Spanish, and Portuguese, my work opens new narrative and geographical territories and facilitates dialogue with partners for whom language, professional codes, or cultural differences can sometimes be a barrier.

Goal # 2

Optimising each stage of development to ensure your projects move efficiently from concept to reality.

How many ideas and concepts remain dormant, set aside by time constraints, creative changes, or shifting production partnerships?

To meet these development challenges, I offer a clear, flexible, and phased editorial support framework, guiding your projects from early development through to completion.
